Tempest Storm: vintage 8x10 photo dated 28 April 1955.
This photo was used to accompany the engagement announcement for Tempest Storm (Ann Banks) and Harry Frank Engel. Harry Frank Engel was the owner/operator of 5 burlesque theaters in 5 different cities. He was half owner of the Casino Theater in Boston, MA where Tempest was performing at the time of the engagement. Engel presented Tempest with a 7-carat diamond engagement ring. It would be the 4th marriage for Tempest and the 2nd for Harry Frank Engel.

Tempest Storm: vintage 7x9 photo of Tempest Storm’s wedding to jazz singer Herb Jeffries 21 May 1959, in San Francisco. This was Tempest’s 4th marriage, and his third. Herb Jeffries was best known as the singer for Duke Ellington and also as a singing cowboy in several all-black western movies.
