Blaze Fury (Lucia Parks Timlin): Vintage 8x10 photo
Blaze Fury was born Lucia Parks to parents that both worked in vaudeville and burlesque. At 17, Lucia left high school in Detroit, MI and started working as a chorus girl, but she soon became a feature dancer and started using the name ‘Blaze Fury’. Blaze Fury married Tommy Timlin, a burlesque dancer and actor, and when they retired from burlesque, and later the carnival circuit, they settled in Detroit. After she retired from burlesque, Blaze worked as a wardrobe assistant at the Detroit Opera House. Unfortunately, Blaze Fury died of heart failure 28 May 1997.
