Betty began her career as a chorus girl at the Troc (Trocadero) Theater in Philadelphia, PA. She danced at the President-Follies in San Francisco and by the mid to late 1940s she was a headliner on the popular burlesque circuits. On 25 January 1946 she married KRNT radio announcer Carter Reynolds.
Betty was billed as “Blue Eyes” or with the tag line “You’ll LOVE her Blue eyes”. It was her gimmick, as when she disrobed, it was revealed that her pasties were shaped like two big blue eyes.
